Paper Arts

Iris Graville takes trimmings of fine art papers she uses to cover hand-bound books, combines them with buttons, beads, stray earrings, pins, and other cast-off items, and creates unique collage cards. Each 4 ¼” x 5 ½” cd is hand decorated on the outside,

blank on the inside, and, with its matching envelope, is protected by a clear sleeve. Most cards require extra postage, and a piece of padding is included to protect embellishments. Who would have guessed recycling could be so beautiful?
Iris also uses paper trimmings to make unique gift tags, book marks, pins, refrigerator magnets, and paper ornaments. She’s always looking for new ways to use her scraps of beautiful papers to make works of art.
